What to do when the prospect says “No”?

You will notice when you talk to prospect when you have an offer and say you have a single offer, you talk on the phone and you ask them a lot of qualifying questions and then when they say no,
Maybe they’re just not ready or maybe your solution just cost a bit too much and it is outside of their budget. Then, what do you do? Well… most of the time you would just say, “well no that’s too bad, maybe we’ll talk again” and you’ll follow with them to call you back. Who knows? But chances are you’ll never hear from them and you’ll never talk to them again.
So instead of doing that, a very simple thing that you could do is you can do a Downsell.

Example:
So let’s say you have an offer that is three thousand dollars, and it’s a three thousand dollar offer and then that’s fine you have been selling and that’s okay but for the prospects, they may not be ready to invest at that level. They’re not ready to invest that’s three thousand dollars to buy your product.
So, what do you do?

Then you should have some kind of option that costs them less. It should be almost like a lighter version of it. A more basic version of it. That could be five hundred dollars (instead of three thousand). Something that you could offer which maybe not the whole solution, but it’s a good starting point that will help you to get from point A to point B. from point B. to point C. and from point C, maybe now they’re ready to invest with you.
Now if you are smart, then you understand that it’s better to get them into your world, to get them investing with you, to get them buying your product.
Because a buyer worth a hundred times more than a typical prospect who bought nothing from you because a buyer has showed his willingness by investing and by buying.
Then you can follow up with them in two weeks, three weeks, a month or two months. now you go back to them,” Hey how you are finding the product?” “Are you getting results?” “Are you enjoying the product?”
So, help them get some kind of results first. Then they could buy the next thing. So think of Downsale as you are planting the seeds so it laid on when you are ready and when they are ready.
Now it is not just yes or no, now it’s a yes or a smaller yes.
